Project Engineer
Develop various aspects of the ATLAS project, such as the internal bevel gear mechanism for the rotation of the wings, implementing gear ratio's, analyzing stress analysis for the gears while in motion, and conducting analysis for the type of material used for the project. Along with calculating the center of gravity of the aircraft, and the variables of lift for both horizontal and vertical flight.
For my Mechanical engineering degree project, a team of two mechanical engineering students and I developed a transitioning eVTOL drone designed for Search and Rescue operations during forest fire hazards. The drone is designed to be modular, easy to use, and compared to current applications, cheap to use for both private and government agencies such as FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency)
